Effect of Distributing Steel Fibers on Some Properties of Slurry Infiltrated Fiber Concrete

The slurry infiltrated fiber concrete (SIFCON) is nowadays considered a special type of high content concrete; it strength and performance material. This paper investigates the effect spread steel into mortar on some properties SIFCON. According to distribution, two sets were used in this investigation. first set consisted randomly distributing fibers inside slurry. second was by placing an orderly manner Crimped with aspect ratio (60) used. Two different volume fractions percentage (7% 9%) mold both for study. Also, w/c (0.35) superplasticizer (1%) weight cement ensure penetration fibers. compressive flexural conducted standard cubes (10*10*10) cm prisms (40*7*7) respectively find how distributed. results showed that gave better than ordered distribution. increment (1.5%, 6.9%, 23%, 6.5%), respectively, 9%).
